About the role

Tekmetric is an all-in-one, cloud-based platform for auto repair shops. Founded in Houston in 2017, Tekmetric aims to simplify operations and empower shops to grow sustainably and serve customers better.

Responsibilities

  • Lead generation through target account selling and outbound cold calling.
  • Serve as the liaison for potential customers throughout their buying journey (booking demos, demo reminders, follow-ups after demo).
  • Build out and refine information about leads in a CRM to assist in lead qualification.
  • Provide useful details to the sales team to deliver a tailored demo experience.
  • Collaborate and keep active lines of communication with other sales team roles involved in the customer journey.
  • Ensure all potential customers receive exceptional service from start to finish.
  • Help coach and provide light training to new Sales Development Representatives as the team grows.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of work experience (Sales and/or SaaS experience, a plus)
  • Experience with following defined processes using a CRM (Salesforce, a plus)
  • Innate interest in startups, sales, and technology, with a strong desire to be a top performer
  • Strong interpersonal skills and friendly professional demeanor on the phone
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • An honest and genuine approach to helping potential customers
  • Strong desire to grow personally and professionally in Sales
  • Able to succeed in a sales quota environment

Qualifications

  • Candidates in the eastern or central time zone preferred

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, a plus)

Schedule

Hybrid and remote work models based on your proximity to our office hubs. Travel is an expected part of every role.
