Sales Development Representative
About the role
Join Gallagher Security Americas as a Sales Development Representative and help generate qualified opportunities across the region. This role supports our lead generation strategy through research, outreach, prospecting, inbound follow-up, outbound demand generation, and lead qualification. You’ll work closely with marketing and sales to turn interest into qualified opportunities, using phone, email, social media, market intelligence platforms, and CRM activity.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on inbound marketing leads and qualify opportunities for the sales team
- Research target accounts, build prospect lists, and identify key decision-makers
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social outreach to generate new sales conversations
- Educate and nurture prospects until they are ready to speak with a Business Development Manager or Regional Sales Manager
- Support campaign, webinar, seminar, conference, and demo follow-up activity to help move prospects through the sales pipeline
- Maintain accurate lead, activity, and qualification information in the CRM and share feedback to improve the sales development process
Requirements

You Bring 2+ years of experience in inside sales, sales development, demand generation, telemarketing, customer service, or a related role A bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a positive and professional phone presence Demonstrated prospecting ability, active listening skills, and confidence engaging new contacts Experience using CRM systems, sales outreach tools, Microsoft Office, or similar business tools A self-motivated, collaborative approach with strong follow-through, urgency, and attention to detail
Qualifications
Based in Canton, this role will be onsite to start while training is completed, with potential to move to a hybrid working arrangement later.
