About the role

The U.S. Sales Development team at Amplitude is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

  • Run a full all-bound motion: drive outbound prospecting, follow up on inbound MQLs, and convert field event registrants and attendees into pipeline.
  • Target and convert key accounts using personalized campaigns, strategic research, and account-level signal analysis.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Amplitude's product offerings to support discovery calls and evaluation cycles with potential customers.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, personalize outreach at scale, and surface the right accounts and contacts at the right time.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives, SDR Leadership, and Enablement teams to identify best practices and share learnings.
  • Consistently exceed quarterly and annual targets while maintaining a high standard of excellence.
  • Must be available to work from the New York or San Francisco office every Tuesday through Thursday.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong track record of consistent success across academics, athletics, work, or internships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-oriented settings.
  • High level of curiosity, empathy, and a genuine drive to keep learning.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, solve problems proactively, and drive measurable results.
  • Openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience building and managing pipeline in a high-growth environment (preferred).
  • Comfort experimenting with and improving sales processes using data and analytics (preferred).
  • Familiarity with SaaS sales tools, systems, and processes, including AI-powered prospecting and productivity tools (preferred).

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of SaaS sales methodologies and best practices.

Pay

Salary range: $74,000 - $112,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Schedule

Must be available to work from the New York or San Francisco office every Tuesday through Thursday.
