Sales Development Representative
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of nurturing and cultivating relationships with prospects.
- Create a well-structured sales funnel through proactive prospecting.
- Ensure a steady flow of activity and opportunities for the sales team.
- Generate appointments and drive traffic using various lead-generation techniques.
- Communicate with prospective customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries, and provide information about RV products and services.
- Utilize provided scripts and talking points for initiating and receiving phone calls.
- Proactively make 8-10 outbound calls per hour with the primary objective of scheduling sales appointments.
- Use the CRM system to record and manage customer information, appointments, calls, and sales interactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data for efficient follow-up and tracking.
- Stay up-to-date with all ongoing marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Leverage marketing initiatives to impact lead generation and sales conversion.
- Regularly track and analyze personal performance metrics, including appointments scheduled, calls made, sales achieved, and customer engagements.
- Be receptive to coaching and work closely with the Sales Development Manager to improve departmental success.
- Help manage online reputation through review sites and social media outlets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless journey from initial contact to sale.
What You Need To Have
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Results-driven and motivated for sales.
- Excellent customer service.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Prior CRM experience and strong computer skills.
- Previous sales experience is a plus.
General Compensation
The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the total annual compensation range (base pay + variable compensation earned) is $35,000 - $55,000 or more. This is a variable pay role with uncapped variable pay.
