About the role

The Sales Consultant promotes products and services—including amenities, textiles, room accessories, paper, janitorial supplies, and related products—by building relationships with new and existing customers, primarily in the hotel and hospitality markets. Responsibilities include consultative selling, account management, identifying new opportunities, and maintaining customer satisfaction to achieve sales and profit goals. The role involves making sales calls, delivering presentations, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure seamless service.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
  • Develop new sales opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
  • Conduct product consultations and presentations for clients
  • Forecast sales and track performance against targets
  • Coordinate account setup, including credit applications and pricing agreements
  • Ensure timely payments and resolve billing or service issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs
  • Travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events
  • Work remotely as needed, with flexibility to adapt to business demands

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in hospitality or distribution
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on driving results
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills

Physical demands
