RN On Call - Operating Room (Exempt) → Registered Nurse - On Call - Operating Room

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an on-call, full-time role in the Operating Room Complex. This position provides after-hours nursing support to ensure safe and effective patient care across departments, utilizing clinical judgment to assess situations, coordinate care, and respond to operational needs. The role features a unique schedule of 7 days "on" (including 24-hour shifts with call coverage) followed by 7 days "off," with a 30-minute response time required during call shifts. Responsibilities include managing urgent surgical cases, maintaining compliance with policies, and working independently within scope of practice. Qualifications Include Minimum of 2 years relevant RN experience in acute, outpatient, procedural, or specialty settings.Graduation from an accredited nursing program.Current Missouri RN license and BLS certification; AORN and other certifications preferred.Ability to respond promptly to call notifications, manage time effectively, and work well within a team.Physical ability to lift, stand, walk, and perform essential nursing duties. Key skills: effective communication, proficiency with electronic health records, ability to prioritize, and respond to time-sensitive situations. The role may require remote or on-site work based on departmental needs.
