On-Call Operating Room Nurse (Exempt)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an On-Call role in the Operating Room complex. This exempt, full-time position provides after-hours nursing support outside of regular shifts.

Schedule

• Unique schedule: 7 days on (including 24-hour shifts and on-call duties) followed by 7 days off
• Must respond within 30 minutes to on-call notifications

Responsibilities

• Assess situations and coordinate timely, safe patient care
• Adhere to policies and protocols
• Support surgical cases extending beyond normal operating hours

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience in acute, outpatient, procedural, or specialty care settings
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current Missouri RN license; ability to obtain and maintain licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; AORN and other certifications preferred
• Availability outside business hours
• Physical ability to perform essential nursing tasks
