About the role
Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital. Hours: Full-time, 36 hours/week, 7am-7pm, rotating weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- The Staff Nurse provides safe, compassionate care by planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. They collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Illinois RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of EKG interpretation
- NIHSS Stroke Scale certification (essential)
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Preferred: Surgical care experience
- Preferred: ACLS certification
- Preferred: Inpatient nursing experience
