RN - Observation Unit - Days

Position: Registered Nurse - Observation Unit Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital Part-Time: 24 hours/week Hours: 7am-7pm, with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays Responsibilities include: delivering safe, compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans; collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care. Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; current Illinois RN licensure; CPR certification; knowledge of EKG interpretation; NIHSS Stroke Scale certification (required). Preferred: Bachelor's degree, surgical care experience, ACLS certification, inpatient nursing experience. Skills: strong clinical judgment, teamwork, communication, and adaptability.
