Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies, ANA code of ethics, and external regulatory agencies.

• Use the nursing process to plan and manage quality patient care, addressing biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self‑care, educational, and discharge planning needs in all steps.
• Ensure baseline and comparative documentation is entered timely with evidence of age‑appropriate consideration when care is planned, delivered, and evaluated.
• Perform specialty‑specific tasks as required (e.g., for cost center 11403 Bronchoscopy only).

Requirements

• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; alternatively, an Associate degree in Nursing plus 1 year of relevant experience may be considered.
• Preferred education: Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Licensure/certification: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of FL, or a valid Multi‑State privilege to practice in FL (must declare FL as primary state of residence within 60 days if licensed in another eNLC compact state).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Any additional courses or certifications required for placement in specialty areas.
• Training required for the role.

Preferred Qualifications

• National nursing specialty certifications.

Pay

Salary range: $40.38 – $60.57 per hour (base pay; actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, skills, education, and internal equity).
