About the role
Join our not-for-profit organization as a full-time RN to provide compassionate nursing care in a senior housing facility.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process for individualized resident care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
- Serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, and ensuring safe, quality care.
- Provide preventive, health maintenance, diagnostic, and treatment care across all resident care phases.
- Support resident education and coordinate nursing interventions within scope of practice and standards.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (preferred); Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is advantageous.
- Current, unencensed RN license in the practice state or multistate licensure if applicable.
- Maintain required competencies and certifications as per department standards.
Skills & Qualities
- Strong clinical judgment and collaboration skills.
- Ability to delegate and supervise nursing assistants.
- Adherence to nursing standards, ethics, and state regulations.
Schedule
Shift includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.
