RN - Charge Nurse - MICU Stepdown - Night Shift

About the Role

Leading and coordinating staffing in the MICU Stepdown Unit to ensure high-quality patient care and clinical objectives. Assigning, directing, educating, and monitoring nursing and support staff during the shift. Assessing patient care needs, developing care assignments, and evaluating care effectiveness. Responding to patient care concerns and providing input on staff hiring, training, and development.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire; ACLS and PALS may be required within 6 months.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Schedule

Full-time night shifts.
