RN - Charge Nurse - MICU Stepdown - Night Shift

Position Overview Responsible for coordinating staffing and providing leadership in the MICU Stepdown Unit to ensure high-quality patient care and clinical objectives. Key Duties Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during night shifts.Assess patient care needs and develop appropriate care assignments.Evaluate care effectiveness and address issues impacting patient outcomes.Respond to patient care complaints and manage through established channels.Contribute to hiring, training, and evaluating staff. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license issued by the Alabama Board of Nursing.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS may be required within 6 months.Diploma from an accredited nursing school with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
