RN - Charge Nurse - MICU Stepdown - Night Shift

Position Overview Work in the MICU Stepdown Unit on a full-time night shift (7pm-7am) at a healthcare facility in Trussville, AL.Provide leadership by coordinating staffing, assigning, educating, and monitoring nursing and support staff during shifts.Assess patient care needs, develop care assignments, and ensure appropriate, quality care is delivered.Evaluate patient outcomes, address care issues, and respond to patient care concerns through established channels.Contribute to staff hiring, training, development, and performance evaluations as needed. Qualifications Current RN licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing.BLS certification within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS may be required within 6 months depending on the unit.Diploma from an accredited nursing school and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Skills & Responsibilities Leadership, staff coordination, patient care assessment, and performance evaluation.Responding to care concerns and supporting staff development.
