About the Role
This role is based in the MICU Stepdown Unit, working full-time night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am at a healthcare facility in Trussville, AL.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate staffing and lead clinical teams to ensure quality patient care and meet clinical objectives.
- Assign, educate, monitor staff, and contribute to performance evaluations.
- Assess patient care needs, develop assignments, and ensure appropriate care delivery.
- Evaluate patient outcomes, identify issues, and respond to care-related complaints.
- Participate in hiring, training, and staff development as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure and BLS certification required.
- ACLS and PALS may be required within six months.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school with at least one year of relevant experience.
