The Clinical Assistant Manager provides administrative and operational leadership within a nursing unit, supporting staff development, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical managers to improve patient outcomes and optimize resource utilization
• Promote a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Manage staff scheduling and financial resources to balance quality care with cost efficiency

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience
• One year in leadership or charge roles preferred
• Current RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Specialty certification within six months of hire

Skills

• Familiarity with healthcare standards such as JCAHO
