About the role
The Resident Chef at Sur La Table is responsible for providing exceptional culinary experiences to customers through hands-on cooking demonstrations and engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Lead cooking demonstrations and workshops, ensuring safety and adherence to food handling guidelines.
- Engage with customers, offering personalized recommendations and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Prepare and maintain a clean and organized demonstration kitchen.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid Food Handlers Card.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in multiple cuisines.
- Experience with food styling and photography.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety protocols.

Pay
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.
