About the role
The Resident Chef at Sur La Table is responsible for providing culinary demonstrations, assisting customers with recipe selection, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.
Responsibilities
- Conducts cooking demonstrations and workshops to engage customers in the culinary process.
- Assists customers in selecting recipes and ingredients that align with their dietary preferences and goals.
- Maintains a clean and organized store space, ensuring all products are displayed attractively and safely.
- Collaborates with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience.
- Experience with customer service and public speaking.
- Valid Food Handlers Certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of local food trends and seasonal ingredients.
Skills
- Proficient in multiple cooking techniques and cuisines.

Pay
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.
