About the role
The Resident Chef at Sur La Table is responsible for providing expert culinary guidance to customers, managing inventory, and maintaining a welcoming and engaging atmosphere in the store.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on cooking demonstrations and customer service
- Manage inventory and ensure product availability
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance the shopping experience
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional kitchen experience
- Experience with food safety regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Knowledge of local and seasonal ingredients
- Experience with social media marketing and customer engagement
