The Resident Chef will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
- Prepare and present dishes that meet or exceed customer expectations
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Adhere to all food safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional chef experience
- Valid Food Handlers Card
- Experience with commercial kitchen equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Education in culinary arts or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of local and seasonal ingredients
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Skills
- Proficiency in multiple cooking techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot kitchen issues
