About the role

The Resident Chef will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Prepare and present dishes that meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Collaborate with other team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Adhere to all food safety and quality standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional chef experience
  • Valid Food Handlers Card
  • Experience with commercial kitchen equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Education in culinary arts or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of local and seasonal ingredients
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Skills

  • Proficiency in multiple cooking techniques
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot kitchen issues
