Reservations Agent

About the role

We are looking for a Team Reservation Agent to join our dynamic team at Crescent Hotels & Resorts. This position offers highly competitive wages, an exceptional benefits package, and flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and booking platforms.
• Manage Group Reservations and their processes, ensuring adherence to Sales Contract terms and guest satisfaction.
• Load and maintain rates, packages, and tracking codes in the Property Management system.
• Maintain awareness of budgetary goals, occupancy, and revenue forecasts, and react to changes in market conditions.
• Control high occupancy and oversold dates to minimize guest “walks” and maintain hotel profitability.
• Complete data entry for monthly performance results.
• Work collaboratively with the Director of Revenue Management to complete the annual departmental budget and ensure expenses are within budget.
• Show initiative, possess analytical skills, and have proficiency in technical areas and customer relations.
• Be knowledgeable and proficient in sales and sales techniques.
• Show good time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Requirements

Prior experience as a Reservation Agent in a hotel or high-volume industry, passion for excellent customer service, and the ability to provide memorable guest experiences. Flexibility in working various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends is preferred. Excellent computer skills and a strong team spirit are also essential.

Qualifications

Knowledgeable and proficient in sales and sales techniques, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with colleagues and guests.
