About the role

The Research Administrator will support research activities within the Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics Residency Program by coordinating research projects, managing research grants, and ensuring compliance with institutional and federal regulations. This position requires a strong background in research administration, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for advancing women’s health.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate research projects within the residency program
  • Manage research grants and funding
  • Ensure compliance with institutional and federal research regulations
  • Support grant writing and management
  • Navigate IRB processes
  • Utilize research software and data management tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (credentials must be obtained prior to the start date)
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience

Qualifications

  • Experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology or related fields
  • Previous experience working with residency programs
  • Demonstrated ability to secure research funding
  • Knowledge of grant writing and management
  • Familiarity with IRB processes and federal research regulations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in research software and data management tools
  • Master’s or PhD preferred
  • Experience in research administration, preferably in a medical or academic setting
