Research Administrator position supporting the research activities within the Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics Residency Program at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine.

About the role

The Research Administrator will coordinate research projects, manage research grants, and ensure compliance with institutional and federal regulations. This role is pivotal in advancing women’s health through research.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate research projects within the Residency Program.
  • Manage research grants and secure research funding.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional and federal research regulations.
  • Support grant writing and management.
  • Navigate IRB processes and maintain familiarity with federal research regulations.
  • Utilize research software and data management tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (credentials must be obtained prior to the start date).
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology or related fields.
  • Previous experience working with residency programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure research funding.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in research administration, preferably in medical or academic settings.
  • Knowledge of grant writing and management.
  • Familiarity with IRB processes and federal research regulations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in research software and data management tools.
  • Master’s or PhD preferred.
