About the role
The Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics (GSO) department is seeking candidates at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level to provide clinical services as a Maternal and Fetal Medicine physician. This is a 12-month faculty (non-tenure track) position.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient/outpatient and consultative care at the University Medical Center Hospital, Sunrise Hospital, and UNLV Health outpatient clinical locations in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Participate in medical student and resident education.
- Engage in clinical research, health outcomes, or education outcomes research.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Completion of ACGME accredited residency program.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Eligibility for a Nevada medical license, malpractice coverage, a State Board of Pharmacy license, and DEA license.
- Credentialing requirements must be met prior to employment.
Qualifications
- Proven abilities in medical student and resident education, clinical research, health outcomes or education outcomes research.
- Eligible for a Nevada medical license, malpractice coverage, a State Board of Pharmacy license, and DEA license.
- Ability to obtain admitting privileges at applicable hospitals and/or clinics.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in Maternal and Fetal Medicine.
