Locums Obstetrics Gynecologist

About the role

This hospital-based position provides obstetrics and gynecology coverage with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. The role includes managing unassigned and emergent OB/GYN cases, with approximately 25% of high-risk cases transferred out as needed. Providers cover around 100 deliveries per month and maintain hospital privileges.

Responsibilities

• Manage unassigned and emergent OB/GYN cases
• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain hospital privileges
• Certify and maintain BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring credentials

Requirements

• Relevant licensing and hospital privileges
• Proficiency in obstetric and gynecological procedures
• Certification in BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring

Schedule

In-house call schedule with lighter weekend shifts.
