About the Role
The REO Eviction Specialist I is responsible for assigning a portfolio of foreclosed residential properties nationwide to approved attorney firms. They assist in the activities that result in vacancy, such as evictions. The REO Eviction Specialist I will handle a total portfolio of 200 to 300 occupied assets.
Responsibilities
- Handle work in a fast-paced environment and meet or exceed deadlines.
- Ensure our clients’ properties are handled with timeliness and accuracy.
- Build excellent relationships with clients and keep them informed of property progress.
- Monitor properties from acquisition to possession.
- Assign occupied properties to the approved Eviction Attorney.
- Monitor attorney firm performance.
- Work with listing agents to determine appropriate Cash for Keys amounts.
- Monitor portfolio for strict adherence to state eviction timelines.
- Review property photos to determine if personal property requires an eviction.
- Perform related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- 1-year real estate, legal, or mortgage loan servicing experience, required.
- Knowledge of multi-state eviction rules and procedures (a plus).
- Notary certification (a plus).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to work extended hours and overtime when needed.
All employees are required to have smartphones that meet Company security standards with the ability to install apps such as Microsoft Authenticator. Employment will be contingent on this requirement.
