Evictions Specialist
The Evictions and National Evictions Management Group manages evictions nationwide for Mortgage Service Companies, Banks, and Servicers through a proprietary web-based system. This position may be remote or based out of our office in Roswell, GA.
About the role
Under general supervision, this role monitors Local Counsels' activity during the eviction process and provides assistance to ensure timely completion of the eviction file process according to state guidelines. This may include drafting documents using pre-existing templates.
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced, structured environment, meeting key performance metrics, with a focus on quality and productivity.
- Manage a portfolio of loans in eviction status, which includes timeline management, data entry, document preparation, invoicing, and regular communications with involved parties.
- Monitor and work with local counsel during the eviction process.
- Ensure clients are provided with regular updates containing pertinent details of eviction.
- Submit invoices timely and within firm's policy.
- Regularly communicate with real estate agents, judges, sheriff, clients, and attorneys.
- Return emails and phone calls.
- Escalate any required issues to management as needed.
- Collaborate with internal resources to provide effective solutions to clients.
Requirements
- College degree preferred.
- Office experience preferred.
- Prior eviction or default knowledge a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and coordinate multiple changing priorities.
- Able to communicate with different departments, clients, and attorneys.
- Proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Able to work independently, under pressure, and meet deadlines/timelines.
- Promote a positive work place, supportive of the company and department goals and objectives.
Physical Demands
- Frequent sitting, talking, or hearing.
- Occasional standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- Normal office working conditions, with quiet to moderate noise level within the work environment.
