About the role
Join our Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, as a Registered Nurse, providing care for patients with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis.
Unit details
24 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing advanced technology like telemetry monitoring, patient lifts, and virtual whiteboards.
- Interpreting EKGs and managing central lines.
- Assisting with bedside procedures including endoscopies and bronchoscopies.
- Applying critical thinking, delegating tasks, and managing time effectively.
- Collaborating with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, providers, PT, and OT staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in Ohio.
- AHA Basic Life Support certification (or obtained within 90 days).
- ACLS certification (or obtained within 6 months).
Preferred
- BSN.
