Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Surgical

About the Role

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations in a Critical Care Step Down Unit, including patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced technology and skills such as EKG interpretation, central line care, rescue Bi-Pap, high-flow oxygen, and bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Engage in critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, physical therapy (PT), and occupational therapy (OT).

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid Ohio RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• For PRN positions: at least one year of relevant RN experience and necessary certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree.
• Professional certification recognized by the Magnet designation.
