Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

About the Role

This position involves providing direct clinical patient care and supervising staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing services. The RN assesses, plans, and implements care for assigned patients, coordinates within prescribed medical regimes, and supports the Chief Nursing Officer in maintaining clinical competency and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe nursing care according to established standards
• Manage patient discharge planning
• Fulfill all hospital incident command system (HICS) duties during emergencies
• Adhere to hospital policies, emergency codes, and infection control protocols
• Ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Current licensure or registration as a nurse
• CPR certification

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
• Emergency preparedness skills
