About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Critical Care Step Down Unit with a primary focus on patient populations such as congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.
The unit is a 14-bed facility equipped with advanced technology, including telemetry monitoring and virtual whiteboards, where you will collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Interns, Providers, PT, and OT.
Responsibilities
- Utilize skills in EKG interpretation, central line care, and management of ventilated patients with Rescue Bi-Pap, High Flow Oxygen, Trach/Vents
- Assist with bedside procedures
- Apply critical thinking, delegation, and time management
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in Ohio
- AHA BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Qualifications (Preferred)
- BSN degree
- Professional certification recognized by the Magnet association
