Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

About the role

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations including those with CHF, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis in a Critical Care Step Down Unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced technology such as telemetry monitoring, patient lifts, and virtual whiteboards.
• Perform EKG interpretation and central line care.
• Assist with bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, providers, PT, and OT.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• PRN positions require at least one year of RN experience and all certifications at hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Professional certification recognized by the Magnet designation.
