About the Role
Provide direct clinical patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing nursing interventions on a shift basis.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff and delegate appropriate care to ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing services.
- Coordinate and integrate patient care according to the nursing process and established standards, aiming for optimal patient outcomes.
- Support the Chief Nursing Officer in maintaining clinical staff competency and managing resources effectively.
- Perform all assigned Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) roles during emergencies or disasters, adhering to hospital policies and emergency codes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice nursing in the applicable state.
- CPR certification.
- Preferred: Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing.
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, emergency procedures, and quality standards.
- Effective communication and team supervision skills.
