About the role
The position is for an RN specializing in Maternal - Newborn care, focusing on lactation services and program oversight in a Mother/Baby setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead lactation education and competency programs
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Manage Baby-Friendly initiatives
- Provide direct patient support
- Serve as a clinical expert
- Participate in performance improvement activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Oversee lactation and donor milk programs
- Support staff training
- Promote best practices in infant feeding and maternal care
Qualifications & Skills
- Active New York State RN license
- BSN
- IBCLC certification
- BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
- Strong knowledge of maternal-child health
- Leadership experience
Schedule
Full-time, in-person role with a schedule of four weekday 10-hour shifts, no weekends or holidays.
Pay
Compensation ranges from $122,531 to $157,793 annually.
