Registered Nurse (RN) - Maternal-Newborn

About the role

The role is for an RN Maternal - Newborn with a focus on lactation services and program oversight. This full-time, permanent position is in-person and focuses on supporting maternal and newborn care within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Leading lactation education, staff training, and competency programs
• Ensuring compliance with regulations related to donor milk and Baby-Friendly initiatives
• Providing direct patient lactation support in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Serving as a clinical expert on lactation, infection control, and best practices
• Participating in performance improvement efforts and promoting maternal and infant care standards

Qualifications

• Active NY RN license
• BSN
• IBCLC certification
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS
