Registered Nurse (RN) - Maternal and Newborn Care

Role Overview: Provides specialized nursing care in the Maternal - Newborn department, focusing on direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Key Responsibilities Deliver top-of-scope nursing care in a multidisciplinary team setting to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.Prioritize wellness, patient safety, and evidence-based practices.Precept and mentor new healthcare team members, fostering knowledge sharing and proficiency.Contribute to maintaining a safe, high-quality care environment.Follow standards such as AWHONN and AACN, including certifications like RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP, and CCRN. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; less than 3 years' experience requires degree completion.Valid RN licensure and relevant certifications; BLS required before start, NRP within 6 months, ACLS if applicable.Minimum 6 months Women and Infants nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills, with a commitment to ongoing learning in a fast-paced environment.
