Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - Medical (Full-Time Day)

The role involves serving as a proactive Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute care medical setting, collaborating within an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care. Responsibilities include practicing under the guidance of Nurse Managers and adhering to the WellStar Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing standards, and evidence-based practices. RNs must uphold the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, and support service excellence while advocating for patients and following system policies. Qualifications include a nursing degree from an accredited institution (BSN preferred), current RN licensure in Georgia or under eNLC, and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Experience in direct patient care is required, with national certification in a specialty area preferred. Skills needed are strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities, proficiency with technology and basic computer skills, and the capacity to respond decisively in fast-paced or emergency situations.
