Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Medical (Full-Time Day)

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care - Medical, providing high-quality, safe patient care within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Deliver individualized care to patients, families, and significant others in a clinical environment.Collaborate with licensed and unlicensed care team members, supporting the WellStar Shared Governance Model.Adhere to the WellStar Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing standards, evidence-based practices, and research.Maintain licensure and practice standards as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.Support service excellence, uphold patient voices, and follow system policies and procedures. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.Current RN license in Georgia or under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.Experience in direct patient care; national certification in specialty area preferred.Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, respond to emergencies, and demonstrate critical thinking and time management skills.Proficient in basic computer skills and technology to support clinical care.
