Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Medicine Unit - Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Pulmonary Medicine Unit with higher acuity patients. The role involves developing and evaluating personalized care plans, conducting patient assessments, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education tailored to individual needs
• Support professional development among colleagues
• Assist with clinical procedures such as injections, IV management, and oxygen therapy
• Participate in performance improvement activities
• Support evidence-based practice
• Conduct wound/ostomy care rounds

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license
• Associate degree or higher in nursing
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Inpatient experience
