Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Medicine Unit - Night Shift

Position: Registered Nurse in Pulmonary Medicine Unit, providing care for higher acuity patients. Responsibilities Include Developing and evaluating individualized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.Assessing patient health data and communicating effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.Providing education tailored to patient needs, cultural background, and learning styles.Supporting professional development of colleagues and contributing to a compassionate care environment.Assisting technical staff with procedures such as injections, venipuncture, and IV management.Participating in performance improvement activities, research, and evidence-based practice.Monitoring wound/ostomy/skin care treatments if qualified, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.Transporting acutely ill patients as needed. Qualifications Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.Active Illinois RN license.ACLS, BLS, and current CPR certification.Experience in inpatient nursing is preferred; new graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged. Skills: Strong assessment, communication, teaching, and collaboration skills, with a focus on compassionate patient care. Technical proficiency in procedures is advantageous.
