Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Medicine Unit - Night Shift

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a higher acuity Pulmonary Medicine Unit. Responsibilities include: Developing and evaluating individualized care plans, conducting patient assessments, communicating effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, and providing patient education tailored to cultural and learning needs.Contributing to professional development, supporting colleagues, and fostering a compassionate environment. Assisting with technical procedures such as injections, IV management, and oxygen therapy. Participating in quality improvement and research activities, and monitoring wound/ostomy/skin care when skilled.Ensuring HIPAA compliance and assisting in patient transport as needed. Qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing or higher; Bachelors preferred. Current Illinois RN license.ACLS and BLS certifications required. Experience in inpatient nursing is preferred. Skills: Strong assessment, communication, patient education, teamwork, and clinical skills. Ability to collaborate and support a multidisciplinary team.
