About the role
This role is designed for newly graduated Registered Nurses with less than 12 months of practice experience, enrolled automatically in a Nurse Residency Program, and includes a comprehensive orientation for all new to the organization. The position is eligible for TN sponsorship upon licensure and certification completion.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions
- Supporting professional practice across various settings, functioning within the organizational Nursing Care Model and adhering to ANA standards
- Providing leadership through mentorship, informal leadership, and quality improvement initiatives
- Delegating patient care based on skill, experience, acuity, and resource availability
- Participating in committees or projects as encouraged
Requirements
- Licensed in Minnesota (MN)
- Hold BLS certification
- Demonstrate completion of a nursing program
- Less than 12 months of practice experience (newly graduated RN)
