Registered Nurse – Psychiatric Services Unit

We are seeking a registered nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care, support education, and facilitate care transitions. The RN will coordinate nursing activities within the Mayo Nursing Care Model, ensuring quality practice across care settings, and support professional development through mentoring, leadership, and quality improvement initiatives. The role involves delegating patient care responsibly, demonstrating excellent communication skills, and participating in committees or projects. All new graduate RNs with less than 12 months of experience are automatically enrolled in a Nurse Residency Program, and all nurses will receive extensive orientation. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, and BLS certification.Preferred candidates have at least one year of RN or LPN experience in relevant care settings. This position is eligible for TN sponsorship, requiring state licensure and certification completion. The role is full-time, with rotating 12-hour day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
