Registered Nurse – Psychiatric Services Unit

We are seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care, education, and care transitions within a collaborative team environment. The RN supports professional nursing practices across various settings, adhering to the Mayo Nursing Care Model and ANA standards. Responsibilities include coordinating care, delegating tasks based on skill and patient acuity, and demonstrating leadership through mentoring, precepting, and quality improvement initiatives. Excellent communication, teaching skills, and the ability to participate in committees or projects are essential. Qualifications: Graduate of a nursing program with current RN licensure, BLS certification, and preferred one year of RN or LPN experience. Entry-level nurses with less than 12 months of practice are enrolled in a Nurse Residency Program. The role is eligible for TN sponsorship, requiring licensure and certification completion. Skills: Strong communication, mentoring, leadership, and delegation abilities. Additional Details: Full-time position with rotating day/night shifts, holiday and weekend rotations, and competitive compensation.
