Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Role Overview The Progressive Care Registered Nurse delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers, focusing on pre- and post-operative nursing for cardiac and medical-surgical patients. The RN assesses patient conditions, performs procedures, administers medications, documents care, and monitors responses to ensure safety and optimal outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; bachelor’s preferred Current state nursing license BLS certification upon hire; ACLS within 6 months Minimum one year of experience in cardiology or critical care (ICU, ED) Excellent interpersonal and team skills; basic computer knowledge preferred Key Duties Monitor and assess patient status Perform medical procedures and medication administration Document care accurately in medical records Support patient safety and advocate for patient needs
