Role Overview

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies, demonstrate professional growth, and ensure standards of practice are maintained. The nurse coordinates patient care activities among assigned staff to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from a nursing program
• Eligible as a new graduate
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• BLS certification
• Hospital experience and bachelor’s degree preferred
• Advanced certifications in specialty areas are advantageous
