Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

About the role

This position involves providing patient care in a Progressive Care Unit, coordinating multidisciplinary efforts, implementing and monitoring care plans, and communicating patient conditions effectively. The nurse will also assess discharge needs and ensure physician and nursing orders are followed.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Coordinate with healthcare team for comprehensive patient care
• Record and communicate patient conditions
• Carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess discharge planning needs

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or an equivalent state license
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
