Registered Nurse - Observation Unit - Days

Position: Registered Nurse - Observation Unit Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital Hours: 36 hours per week, 7am-7pm, with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays Responsibilities: Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care. Qualifications Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Baccalaureate preferredCurrent Illinois RN licensureCPR certification from the American Heart AssociationKnowledge of EKG interpretation and NIHSS Stroke Scale certification (required) Preferred Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, surgical care experience, ACLS certification, and inpatient nursing experience are highly valued.
