Registered Nurse - Nursing Float Pool - Full-Time

About the Role

Provides professional nursing care to ensure patient comfort and well-being. Assists physicians during examinations and treatments, administers medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Participates as a primary nurse, team member, or leader in planning and delivering patient care.
• Ensures safe aseptic techniques and procedures are followed.
• Offers leadership and guidance to support staff within the department.
• Maintains accurate records of patient care, condition, reactions, and progress.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Louisiana State RN License.
• BLS certification; ACLS required within 30 days of employment; PALS preferred.
• SAMA certification required.

Schedule

Open to multiple shifts. Full-time position.
