Registered Nurse - Float Pool - Full-Time

About the Role

Seeking an experienced RN to provide independent, comprehensive care in a Medsurg or Telemetry setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop and modify care plans using evidence-based practices
• Administer medications and treatments, and monitor patient responses
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs
• Document care accurately and educate patients and families
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient flow, admissions, discharges, and transfers to optimize care delivery
• Supervise unit operations, including staffing, equipment, and supplies management
• Ensure adherence to safety practices, quality standards, and healthcare regulations
• Follow clinical policies, maintain accurate electronic and paper documentation, and process medical orders
• Interpret patient charts, recognize safety issues, and respond to physiological or psychological concerns
• Participate in quality improvement activities and uphold industry ethics and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 2 years of combined Medsurg and Telemetry experience; 5 years preferred
• Current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and clinical skills
• Ability to be flexible and work across multiple units as needed

Schedule

Full-time role with a schedule from 7PM to 7AM.
